In class, we will read the short story attached titled, "The Necklace". I have also attached an audio version if you prefer to listen to the story.  Note: This story takes place in the late 1800s in France. The story refers to "francs", which is a monetary unit. For easier comprehension, you can think of one franc as being one dollar (this is not a correct conversion, but it may help you understand the story better!) After you have read the story, please complete the plot map attached. You will need to send it to NOTABILITY! In Notability, please TYPE your answers -- do not handwrite!  You should include ALL RELEVANT DETAILS! Please do not just write one event in the "rising action", as this is where most events from the story occur.  Don't stress if you are struggling to complete the plot map! If you are not sure about something, make an educated guess. This is a tough story to plot and we will talk about it together. It's always braver to try and be wrong, than to not try at all!  Please attach your completed plot map to this assignment and submit it when you're done.  This is homework if you do not finish in class.
