Once again, sorry to not be in today's lesson. You'll be working on a few things that will illuminate your understanding of 'To Kill a Mockingbird' prior to reading it, making the experience more rewarding.

The files you need can be found in our English Literature OneNote: Content library; 04. Exam TKAM (the files were too big to distribute, so please copy these across). 

Initially, please read through 'Intro/context (26.06.25)' and, where necessary, answer questions (whilst also highlighting anything you find interesting). As you can see from the mark scheme, context forms a key part of how TKAM is assessed.

Following that, please fill out your 'TKAM scavenger hunt table' with the information found in 'TKAM scavenger hunt information' [this can be done in pairs].

As an extension, please either use 'LitChart TKAM' to fill out the chapter summaries found in 'Extension: TKAM Tracker' (which will be a crucial document for next year), or simply make a start reading the novel (Extension: TKAM full text (PDF))'.
