We're going to be looking at invertebrates on Monday!  I'll be bringing in some water from a local pond sample.  I'd also like to encourage you to the same.  You can bring in a small container, or a bucket of water, or no water.  Typically, the clearer water is easier to find microorganisms, but water scooped from the bottom in the sediment can also have some pretty awesome creepy-crawlies which are fun to see under magnification. Also, if you find a tick on yourself or your dog this weekend, put it into a ziplock bag and bring it in because ticks look wild under the microscope. The school scopes actually allow us to see the mouth parts.  Thanks!
