AP Chem G (double) - No homework weekend (see below)

2018-2019

AP Chemistry (G)

Date Due

April 22, 2019

Additional Info
  • In an ideal world...I hope you have read Chapter 18 on Electrochemistry--particularly the sections on electroCHEMICAL cells and now, electroLYTIC cells
  •  It would also be NICE if you had watched the Norton Tutorials and Butler Screencast, done the 1-sided electrochemical worksheet, and possibly done the POGIL activity (?). An answer key to the POGIL activity is posted on OneNote in the Ch. 18 Resources.
  • In class:  We may start or complete a new POGIL activity on Faraday's laws (relates to electrolysis). HINT:  the Q toward the end where you are asked to graph -- has a slope of 96485 C/mole electrons. Write that down!  (And if time permits, give your best shot to the extension, without spending too much time on that part)
  •  In class -- or for Wed? --  the "electrolytic cells" worksheet (2-sided); we will be hammering that topic in class, as we complete the loose ends of the "electrochemistry" chapter and tie it to the equilibrium chapter AND thermo!
  • continue working on albert i.o. -- with the plan of doing 25 more (100 total) by this weekend
