I hope you all had a lovely holiday. Unfortunately I am ill today, so you will have a cover teacher.

Please complete the following work:

"12. Percentages - increase and decrease of a quantity"

1. Read through the first part of my annotations on the page "Classwork - increase and decrease" called "increase and decrease without a calculator". Then complete Ex.4

2. Read through the next part of my annotations on the Classwork page ("increase and decrease of a quantity with a calculator using a multiplier"). Then complete Ex.5

3. Read through the last part of my annotations on the Classwork page ("wordy questions"). Then do Ex.6

Please keep an eye on the time and ensure that you work through all three parts! It's better you only do some tasks of each exercise but you work through all parts, then having done all of one part and didn't get on to the rest.

If you have completed all work above and still have lesson time remaining, you can have a look if there is any incomplete tasks from last lesson (Ex.1,2) or go to the "Extension" page and do any task on there. Your choice!
