Word of the Week is woebegone : appearing sorrowful.  

I’m woebegone because I overlooked that I would have to be out on Silver DofE on Monday, so have missed my chance to bid your farewell as you head off towards Year 10. I’ve loved teaching you this year - you have a real energy about you. I wish you all the very best as you move on up the school. Our paths may cross again on Silver or Gold DofE and in Biology (I do have a Y10 teaching group next year) and I look forward to that if it happens 😀. 

A cover Biology teacher will take you through your all-important Core Practical work done so far for hw for Thurs (by the vast majority of you - check your emails!), and will set you some consolidation work I have left in 4.9, with ms to check your own work. It’s important to do this, even though you will be feeling end-of-termy, because it is a core practical.

I will check in with your post-exam task when I’m back on Tuesday
